MGCLS Car Service Notifications.

What we send

MGCLS Car Service LLC sends transactional SMS messages to customers in connection with car service reservations. Messages may include:

  • Pickup reminders before a scheduled ride
  • Driver dispatch and arrival updates while a driver is en route
  • Ride confirmations after a reservation is booked or modified
  • Replies from MGCLS dispatch to customer questions

We do not send promotional or marketing SMS. Every message is tied to a specific reservation or to a question you have asked MGCLS dispatch.

How you opt in

SMS opt-in is optional and separate from booking. You can book and use every MGCLS Car Service — reservations, payments, customer service, dispatch — without ever opting in to SMS. We will not text you unless you have specifically opted in through one of the two methods below.

You consent to receive SMS from MGCLS when:

  • You submit the SMS opt-in form at laxcarservicemgcls.com/sms-signup, entering your phone number and checking the consent checkbox. This is the primary opt-in path.
  • You initiate an SMS conversation with MGCLS dispatch at (323) 552-9847 by texting us first. Initiating SMS contact constitutes consent for MGCLS dispatch to reply to that conversation. It does not enroll you in ongoing reservation notifications; those still require the opt-in form above.

What does NOT opt you in: giving us your phone number while booking online, calling (855) 255-2557 to make a reservation, or providing your number for any other service-related reason. Your phone number may be used for voice calls about your specific reservation, but MGCLS will not send you SMS unless you have opted in through one of the two methods listed above.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity. Most customers receive a small number of transactional messages around the time of each scheduled ride, plus any replies to questions you send to MGCLS dispatch. We do not send recurring marketing messages.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. MGCLS does not charge you to send or receive SMS, but your mobile carrier may charge you for messages sent or received depending on your plan. Contact your carrier with questions about your rate plan.

How to stop messages

You may opt out of MGCLS SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. You will receive one confirmation message after replying STOP, and MGCLS will not send you further SMS unless you reply START at a later date to opt back in.

Opt-outs are honored immediately and persist across future reservations. Phone numbers that have opted out are stored in a suppression list to ensure they are not contacted again.

Carriers

MGCLS uses Twilio to deliver SMS to U.S. mobile networks including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Boost Mobile, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Phone numbers and SMS content are processed only to deliver the services described above. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their marketing, and we do not use your phone number for any purpose unrelated to your reservation or customer service.
